The main problem with gift cards (aside from that mentioned in the comic) is that those issued by large malls and/or credit card companies tend to have time limits and/or extra fees attached. I’ve also heard that a few of the issuing companies have started charging a monthly “non-use fee” that kicks in in lieu of an expiration date. This is why I prefer ¢a$h for ¢hri$tma$…

But then you feel empty when you use the cash, gift cards not so much.

I like iTunes giftcards.
Especially because my grandparents don’t listen to alternative rock.
