Heh, I learned how to type on an old green and black screen Sanyo computer. Yup, Sanyo - all it ran was BASIC, had no harddrive, something like not even 128k (k!) of RAM, and I don’t even think it’s hertz were mega.

I first learned computing on my mom’s then-new Commodore 64. If you wanted to do anything, you had to type in strings (long or short, depending on what you wanted to do on it) of alpha-numeric code. My Mac Sawtooth G4 is a Hummer® H3 next to it’s clunky Model T-ness, but it did help me to grasp the basic concepts of computing.
